The UK Agri-Tech Centre invites you to join us on October 15 for an Agri-Tech Connect event at our Crop Technology Southern Hub.
The UK Agri-Tech Centre’s Crop Technology Southern Hub is based at the Agri-Informatics Building at Cranfield University and delivers academic rigour, data analytics and agri-tech expertise. It is home to world-class collaborative research within state-of-the-art facilities.
At this event, you will have the opportunity to engage with our dynamic team and discover how you can leverage their expertise to power agri-tech innovation and adoption. Connect with fellow members and build your network, exchange ideas and foster new collaborations to support your agri-tech ambitions.
At the UK Agri-Tech Centre we can provide a range of spectral imaging facilities and services from controlled environment automated systems through to farm scale remote sensing. We will showcase some of these systems and discuss how they are important tools for agri-tech product development, especially for AI-based tools.
The following items will be on display:
There will also be an opportunity to view the Plant Phenotyping and Soil Health Facility which demonstrates the cross-rotational, multi-seasonal context from tillage operations, through drilling, plant establishment and crop development, to harvest and post-harvest. This is the world’s first glasshouse designed to study plant-soil-water relationships at pilot scale under a multi-sensor phenotyping gantry.
This event is open to all – research organisations, agri-businesses, farmers and agronomists – to explore how soil management can impact soil and crop health and protection.
This event is free to attend, and will include lunch and refreshments.
