Daniel Himsworth

Daniel leads engagement with businesses, industry partners and stakeholders to help accelerate the adoption and commercial success of innovative agri-tech solutions.

He brings more than 17 years of experience from Marks & Spencer, where he most recently served as Head of Digital & Technology Innovation. Throughout his career, he has successfully bridged the gap between innovation, commercial strategy and operational delivery, helping organisations realise value from new technologies and scale their impact across complex business environments.

His extensive background in corporate communications—including nine years within the M&S Corporate Communications team and six years in media relations at Woolworths—has equipped him with expertise in stakeholder engagement, strategic communications and relationship building.

He has significant experience working with senior leadership teams, aligning innovation programmes with business priorities and creating the conditions for successful technology adoption. These skills are directly aligned with the UK Agri-Tech Centre’s mission to help agri-tech businesses move from innovation to real-world adoption.
