Groundswell is a two-day regenerative agriculture festival that provides a forum for farmers, growers and anyone interested in agroecological systems to learn about producing food and fibre while regenerating the soil and land. Groundswell is hosted by the Cherry family on their farms in Hertfordshire. The on-farm location means the event has a practical focus, with in-field demos and safaris alongside the main talks and workshops in a variety of venues. Many attendees camp on-site during the festival, and there’s an array of independent food traders and evening entertainment at the ‘Earthworm Arms’ bar. Groundswell maintains an independent and grassroots ‘by farmers for farmers’ ethos whilst being firmly established in the farming calendar as a key knowledge exchange event.
