Duncan is a technology entrepreneur with more than 25 years’ experience developing and commercialising advanced technologies, with particular expertise in machine learning, computer vision and robotics.
He is Founder and CEO of Dogtooth, a UK agri-tech company developing dexterous robotic harvesting solutions for horticulture. Duncan has led the business from early-stage R&D through to commercial deployment, building the team and securing more than £20 million in equity and grant funding.
Duncan has played a key role in several high-growth technology businesses. He co-founded fashion technology company Metail and is currently a Non-Executive Director of technology consultancy Redimension and uncrewed aviation company Flylogix. He also spent more than a decade working with Microsoft Research Cambridge, supporting the translation of cutting-edge research into commercial applications.
Duncan holds a PhD in Computer Vision and Machine Learning and an MEng in Information Engineering from the University of Cambridge. He is also the author of numerous patents and technical publications.
