RAFT Solutions Ltd was established in 2010 and is a veterinary-led SME specialising in research and development, advanced breeding, consultancy and training services to deliver sustainable food solutions with precision livestock farming for animal health and welfare across the UK and Globally. RAFT has delivered 18 Innovate UK projects, collaborated within two major five-year Horizon 2020 European projects and delivered multiple ‘contract research’ projects. RAFT has extensive experience in working with its veterinary and farmer networks to perform practical and scientifically robust studies. We are uniquely able to undertake large scale field observational and clinical studies to a high (Good Clinical Practice -GCP) standard. RAFT also provides consultancy and training services nationally and internationally. RAFT developed, piloted and still runs award-winning FarmSkills and VetSkills training programmes providing practical knowledge exchange on key livestock health and welfare practices.
