The School of Agriculture, Policy and Development at the University of Reading has expertise and research infrastructure spanning a range of disciplines across the natural and social sciences – from animal, crop and environmental science to business, marketing, economics and social science. Our facilities include two research farms, controlled environment and glasshouse facilities and associated laboratories. Research in the School is driven by the key challenges we face in the world today, and aligns closely with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Each year we teach more than 800 students from around 80 countries, creating a truly international community of undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students.
