Jackie obtained a B.Sc in Agricultural Animal Science from Leeds University and then went on to receive an M.Sc in Meat Science from the Meat Research Institute, now part of Bristol University. She is a strategic and accomplished senior leader with over 30 years’ experience operating at executive and PLC board level within science-led, highly regulated food and agri-food environments. Her background includes the development and delivery of technical strategy and robust governance frameworks aligned to business objectives, with responsibility for best in-class food safety, quality systems and regulatory compliance across complex, multi-site manufacturing operations. With her passion for promoting female talent within the food industry, Jackie is proud to be an executive board member of the Meat Business Women organisation.
