Tom Hind is Chief Executive of the North York Moors National Park, one of 15 National Parks in the UK. With a team of over 100 dedicated staff, the National Park Authority is charged with the task of conserving the natural beauty, wildlife and heritage of the North York Moors as well as enabling opportunities for people to experience and enjoy the area.
Prior to this, Tom spent over 20 years working in senior roles in the food and farming industry for the NFU, Tesco plc and the AHDB. A proud Yorkshireman, he hails from Sheffield and now lives in North Yorkshire, having spent time in London, Brussels, the Home Counties & Midlands.
Married to Sara, out of work he enjoys getting out and about in the Moors, Dales and neighbouring AONBs cycling, walking and fishing. He has a degree in politics and French from the University of Warwick.
