PAN Livestock Services Ltd (PAN) specialises in livestock information combining commercial and research activities to provide farmers and advisers with practical information to support effective herd management and disease control. PAN has published studies of key performance indicators across 500 UK milk recording herds since 2010. Recent UK research activities include development of the Johne’s Tracker for monitoring and managing Johne’s disease in UK dairy herds. In addition to the UK, PAN is currently working in Africa, Asia and Latin America on animal identification, registration and traceability as well as livestock/disease information and research.
