Funding Opportunity: Facility for Investment Ready Nature in Scotland (FIRNS)

Through FIRNS organisations and partnerships will be able to access up to £240,000. Applications are encouraged from eNGOs, community groups, landowners, farmers and other private sector organisations, individually or in consortia. FIRNS 3 funding will prioritise projects with a credible pathway to establish legal contracts and close deals within the grant timeline. 

Successful projects must explore and demonstrate the means to co-create projects and to share benefits with community interests, contributing to a just transition.

Funding Opportunity: IBioIC Feasibility Funding

The Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC) Feasibility Call invites applications for industry-led, collaborative research projects with academia from businesses with a foothold in Scotland or a plan to deliver inward investment to stimulate Scotland’s economy.

This is a unique opportunity for industry to tap into the world class skills of Scotland’s HEIs in areas directly relevant to exploitation in Industrial Biotechnology (IB).

Funding Opportunity: Launchpad: net zero industry, Southwest Wales – Rd2 CR&D

UK registered businesses can apply for a share of up to £2.9 million for business led projects that grow their innovation activities in the net zero industrial cluster in Southwest Wales. This funding is from Innovate UK.

Funding Opportunity: Knowledge Transfer Partnership

The Knowledge Transfer Partnership is open to businesses or not-for-profit organisations, research organisations and graduates to innovate, develop, grow and become more productive by employing academic expertise that they do not have in-house. Projects can focus on any type of innovation in any sector but must aim to deliver results that your business would not otherwise be able to deliver.

Funding Opportunity: Funded access to Catapults and RTOs to support growth and scaling

The RTO Catapult Grant scheme is only open to eligible SMEs, in receipt of the Innovate UK Business Growth support service, where the need has been identified by an innovation & growth specialist as part of the action planning process.
