VIV Asia 2025, Thailand
Event date: March 12 – 14 2025
VIV Asia is a top global trade show for the livestock industry, held at Bangkok’s IMPACT Centre. The 2023 event saw 47,000 visitors and 1,186 exhibitors from over 110 countries.
The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and UKTAG invite companies to express interest in exhibiting on the UK pavilion, strategically placed for optimal footfall and networking.
Exhibitors can benefit from meetings with DBT officials, international decision makers and buyers, access to the show’s extensive conference programme, branded podium and advertising opportunities, transport to and from exhibition centre, and more.

Research Grant Competition 3 (RGC3) Now Open for Concept Note Applications
Deadline: March 16
The GCBC Opportunities Portal is now open to receive Concept Note submissions for projects that address either one (or both) of the Third Research Grant Competition (RGC3) themes. Proposals will need to address poverty alleviation, Gender and Social Inclusion, and climate resilience, focusing on approaches that better value, protect, restore and sustainably manage biodiversity.
Canada-UK Collaborative R&D
Deadline: April 16
The aim of this competition is to stimulate the development and implementation of innovative technologies across a range of sectors and technology areas.
This call for proposals is open to organisations from Canada and the UK who wish to form project consortia to perform collaborative projects focused on developing innovative products processes, or technology based services in the area of life sciences, digital and emerging, and sustainability and net zero technologies.
Travel Grants for Climate-Smart Agriculture Partnerships: UK-Brazil-Africa
Deadline: May 7
A consortium of a maximum of two partners (a UK and either a Brazilian, Ghanaian or Nigerian partner) can apply for up to £20,000 for travel to build new relationships between organisations to accelerate the testing and development of technologies and/or practices that promote climate-smart agriculture for sustainable food production systems in Ghana and Nigeria.
Innovation Awards for Climate-Smart Agriculture Partnerships: UK-Brazil-Africa
Deadline: May 7
A consortium of 3-4 international partners (one from UK, one from Brazil, one from Ghana or Nigeria, and optionally one more from any of those four countries) can apply for up to £100,000 for an Innovation Award to accelerate the testing and/or development of technologies and/or practices that promote climate-smart agriculture for sustainable food production systems in Ghana or Nigeria.
EIC Accelerator
Deadline: Rolling Deadline
The EIC Accelerator is a funding programme under Horizon Europe that offers support to start-ups and SMEs that:
- have an innovative, game-changing product, service or business model that could create new markets or disrupt existing ones in Europe and even worldwide
- have the ambition and commitment to scale up
- are looking for substantial funding, but the risks involved are too high for private investors alone to invest.
